Principal's Message

Dear students, parents, and school community,
 
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  
 
I am thrilled to welcome you to City Honors International Preparatory School (CHIPS), a vibrant learning community dedicated to nurturing and challenging our students to become responsible, self-disciplined, and critical thinkers. We are committed to providing a rigorous academic environment that fosters a love of learning and prepares students for success in college and beyond.
 
At CHIPS, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. We offer a wide range of academic programs, including AVID, Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment courses, to ensure that students are challenged and engaged in their learning.
 
However, CHIPS is more than just academics. We also provide a rich co-curricular program that includes athletics, clubs, and activities to help students develop their social, emotional, and leadership skills. We believe that a well-rounded education is essential for preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
 
Here are just a few of the things that make CHIPS special:
 
-A rigorous academic program:  We offer a wide range of courses, including Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, and Honors classes.

-State-of-the-art facilities: Our Wellness Space and Pilates Studio continue to provide students with opportunities for relaxation, mindfulness, and physical well-being.
-A strong sense of community:  We are proud of our close-knit community and the strong relationships that our students, parents, and staff have with each other.
